Job Description
The Comerica Bank technology team supporting Retail Bank is looking for an exceptional Technology Product Manager to take charge of customer facing applications across channels. This role will be responsible for building and managing intuitive, innovative applications to deliver exceptional experience for Comerica's retail customers.
The Product Technology Manager will have end-to-end accountability for multiple Retail digital products (Online , Mobile Banking, Customer Acquisition, Personal Financial Management): Business Partner Relationship management; Product development leveraging Agile/DevOps practices
The Product Technology Manager is located at Auburn Hills Operations Center and reports to the Senior Vice President and Domain CIO of Delivery Channels and Contact Management. This position has multiple direct reports and will directly oversee several agile teams.
Position Responsibilities:As a technology product leader, work in partnership with Retail team
• To understand customer needs and ensure customer is considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions
• Co-create product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, prioritizing, project execution, and roll-out products
• Complete accountability to deliver product releases in the portfolio.
• Deliver in small-scale pilots to validate concepts, refine them to achieve product-market fit, and then scale to drive vertical and horizontal economics
• Research and identification/POC of leading Retail Banking and channel technologies
• Identify disruption opportunities and guide interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products to market.
• Define learning agenda; mentor and develop world class engineering team
• Manage relationship with product vendors
• Leverage modern toolset to monitor and maintain production systems and maintain/exceed SLAs
• Mature the Agile/Devops, Design Thinking, and LEAN practices
• Application related risk management and technology lifecycle management reporting
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Proven experience in and passion for building customer facing products/applications
• Strategic thinker combined with strong Execution bias
• Exceptional collaborator
• Organizational agility to form relationships and break down barriers
• Experience managing web products for other ecosystems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university AND 10 years of technical experience OR 14 years of technical experience
• 2 years of experience with Strategic Technology Planning including building roadmaps
• 2 years of experience leading an Agile transformation project
• 2 years of experience/exposure to Cloud enablement technologies
• 10 years of experience with various technical methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• 8 years IT project management/program management experience
• 8 years of experience in developing and delivering presentations for senior and executive management
• 3 year Consumer facing application experience
• 5 year Retail stores or Financial Services Industry experience
