Opportunity Overview
Compensation and Expense Service provides world class service support to our branches and home office associates making both compensation and business expenses easily understood, which enables the firm to attract, retain and motivate associates. We currently have an opening for a highly motivated and dynamic Team Leader. The Team Leader will be responsible for meeting department goals and objectives, development, training and accountability of associates, as well as maintaining key business relationships that will allow the service team to be successful.
Responsibility Summary:
• Responsible for a team of associates within areas of Finance such as Expenditure Management, Financial Advisor Compensation & Reporting, Facilities, and Commissions/Payroll, and Accounting Services
• Provide support and leadership to team members to promote high quality performance and associate development.
• Ensure team responsibilities/objectives are completed timely and accurately.
• Participate and/or lead in department and division projects.
• Develop and maintain effective communications and relationships within Finance and across the firm.
• Prioritize, delegate, and understand controls and workflow.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of department policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance meetings and coach for continuous improvement.
• Identify, propose solutions and implement efficiency improvements.
• Deliver difficult messages to, FAs, BOAs and other associates at the firm within the Accounting Services function.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in related field such as Customer Service, Call Center etc.
• Must have ability to lead, manage and develop associates
• Strong organizational and project management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
