JOB DESCRIPTION
• The Analyst will work as a member of Exchange Traded Product team assisting in all phases of a product lifecycle from the initial research through listing and ongoing support, working with various stakeholders across the industry. These parties include asset management companies issuing ETPs, the trading and market making communities and other service providers such as investment bank, custodians and administrators.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Research new ideas for products and partners in the Exchange-Traded Products space
• Create and maintain departmental databases and prepare monthly reports for the NYSE Arca Lead Market Maker program and customized reports for clients
• Conduct data analysis to support product design, listing and rule filings
• Work with staff in other departments to coordinate listings of new products and respond to changes impacting existing products
• Prepare both internal and external presentations, legal and regulatory filings and other materials as needed
• Participate in new business development and client retention initiatives
• Coordinate between various Exchange business units, such as marketing and events staff.
Knowledge and Experience
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in financial services
• Self-starter with strong initiative to produce and deliver in an active, small team environment
• Strong quantitative, communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, and/or data manipulation
• Exceptional writing and communications skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to navigate and coordinate with various groups within the organization
• Experience with various market data platforms
• Desire to adopt critical responsibilities driving growth and business on the industry's preeminent Exchange Traded Products listings venue
