Job Description Summary:
The Concierge will go above and beyond to know all there is to know about the resort and the local area in order to advise the guests on activities they can do during their stay. They will support the guests by directing them to the various locations within the full service resort and answer their questions in a way that creates them a lasting memory.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Concierge will be the central information agent for Resort guests providing information on local restaurants, activities, and group functions.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of college education preferred but not required.
• Extensive knowledge of local businesses, area attractions, and community events.
• Pleasant phone demeanor, ability to communicate effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle all guest requests and questions in an efficient manner. Be aware of all daily Resort events, restaurant schedules, and daily functions. Log all guest reservations and follow up with guests. Set up and verify transportation to and from area attractions. Be knowledgeable of area ski conditions and special events. Coordinate guest activities and reservations both on and off site. Keep all informative materials (brochures, menus, maps, and guides) stocked and well organized. Attend pre-con meetings and perform special group presentations upon request.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist other departments as needed.
ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor lobby setting, with a desk and phone. High visibility with constant guest contact.
POSITION ANALYSIS/SPECIFICATIONS
• Sitting. Walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing or pulling of supplies up to 50lbs.
• Manual Dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, good hearing/vision with color recognition.
Environmental Factors
• Working inside, working alone and closely alongside others. Above ground and around noise with slight vibrations.
