Job Description
The Ally User Experience group is an assembly of the highest caliber interaction and visual designers, content strategists, creative strategists and marketers. We work together to tackle complex problems and present our customers with simple, intuitive and beautiful digital experiences.
Our Digital Content Strategists create engaging experiences for Ally customers through digital content and interactions. We currently have a role open, supporting our Digital Marketing Channel, to develop creative content and copy that embodies the Ally brand, voice, and tone. We're looking for a creative powerhouse- who understands how to craft messages and strategies that engage customers and prospects across site, mobile, app and email marketing. We aren't looking for someone who can simply do what is asked in a creative brief- we're looking for someone who can understand the business need and offer a range of possible solutions.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop content strategies, content and copy solutions for our digital marketing initiatives including (but not limited to) marketing banners, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, microsites, etc.
• Create high quality content that aligns to business objectives, as well as brand standards, and voice/tone guidelines
• Collaborate with visual design teams, interaction designers, content editors and web developers to create/maintain a best-in-class digital customer experience across the digital landscape for Ally
• Develop and pitch creative solutions to stakeholders, and receive and implement feedback
• Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of Ally Digital Content Style Guide standards
• Tackle multiple projects, aggressive deadlines, competing priorities and a broad stakeholder audience
• Pitch, propose and provide rationale for solutions to leadership in governance reviews
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Design, Communications, Marketing, Journalism/English, Usability/Research, Business Psychology or comparable experience and portfolio. Masters preferred but not required.
• Creative agency experience strongly preferred- Digital media, Advertising, Marketing or PR
• Experience managing client relationships and multi-phased, complex deliverables
• Prior experience developing online/digital content. Looking for experience in creating copy decks or prototypes that capture online and mobile content, authenticated spaces and user content flows
• Prior experience or understanding of responsive design theories and the applied role of content
• Portfolio and/or writing samples required.
• 4+ years experience as a Content strategist/Digital strategist in UX environment
• Prior experience with scalable solutions to address multiple digital mediums- mobile, web and tablet experience
• Experience developing and analyzing content in digital environments such as: content audits, content strategy recommendations, persona assessments, taxonomy efforts, and applied usability learnings
• Experience with InVision collaboration tools preferred
• Must be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standard
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to balance business needs with customer experience

Business Unit/Enterprise Function
The Digital Transformation team is responsible for the deployment and delivery of an end to end customer experience through our Digital Channels (e.g. phone, chat, email, desktop, mobile, etc.). Digital Transformation is a team of design, product management and business operations professionals who are responsible for the strategy, execution and ongoing support of Ally's consumer and dealer online and mobile channels.
