Description
Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for ourLoan Closer position located in West Valley City, UT.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
• Be responsible for completing all due diligence associated with the satisfaction of approval and collateral lien perfection conditions prior to the preparation of loan closing documents, including requesting, reviewing, and critical interpretation of all third-party documents needed to issue the clear to close for both real estate and non-real estate secured loans.
• Interpret third-party documents which consist of, but are not limited to, the following: real estate appraisals, valuation services, environmental reports, flood determinations, UCC searches, title searches or commitments, insurance documents, surveys, and other documents as required.
• Perform all loan closing tasks and pro-actively interact with sales, portfolio management, underwriting, document preparation, third-party vendors (i.e., title companies, insurance agency, etc.) and bank customers.
• Effectively communicate with all parties, including field personnel and/or customers to expedite the request for loan documentation while meeting underwriting, bank policy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications
• Requires a High School degree or Equivalent and 2+ years of loan processing, closing or other directly related experience.
*****A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of loan closing processes and procedures, lending compliance and regulations, loan systems and loan documentation.
• Must be accurate, detail oriented and have ability to multi-task.
• Must have good problem resolution, audit, customer service (direct customer contact) and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of loan principles and loan systems.
• Solid computer skills including various word processing and spreadsheet software.
