The Sr. Digital Analyst is responsible for optimizing Cuna Mutual Group and TruStage.com digital properties from a Tagging & Analytics perspective. This analyst will leverage multiple data sources and tools to identify, interpret, and communicate online customer behavior and provide behavioral insights that drive improved customer experience and website usability. The analyst will also manage and own the overall tagging strategy across digital marketing and website, including external vendor partnerships. Manages and oversees the web analytics program and proactively finds new tools and resources that support the function.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform the following Responsibilities in an Expert Analyst Capacity:
• Collaborates with members of the e-commerce and digital media teams to provide analytic support to measure performance of site content and feature / functionality efforts.
• Guides end-users in identifying key performance indicators for their areas and then builds appropriate reporting that provides insight into the performance of initiatives and approach, using all available data sources (web analytics customer database, third party tools, etc.)
• Maintains daily and weekly dashboards for e-commerce KPIs. Participates in weekly business reviews meetings. Identifies traffic trends, abandonment issues, and opportunities for improving site conversion rates.
• Generates ad hoc reports and regular data sets or report information for end-users, using system tools and database, analytics platform, etc.
• Works with Information Services to ensure accuracy of tracking tags, data feeds, and reporting tools
• Forecasts the impact on business per planned site changes and enhancements. Builds and manages annual demand, traffic, and conversion plans for digital marketing channels.
• Participates in annual e-commerce business planning efforts. Uses multiple data sources, industry trends, and competitive landscape to proactively identify opportunities for consideration for the e-commerce road map.
• Provides further insights on A/B tests and various business efforts.
• Owns and manages the Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager Account relationship and all related product and vendor evaluations, upgrades, related tools, etc.
Job Requirements:
• Experience working with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Experience in Multi-Touch Attribution solutions and digital media tagging strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the direct marketing industry with an emphasis in business and/or technical data analysis
• Experience accessing and analyzing enterprise data warehouses and relational databases utilizing R, SAS and/or SQL
• Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau preferred
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills to include competent understanding of statistical significance, multivariate techniques, and correlation analysis
• Proven teamwork and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive, results driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver unique analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient with new and emerging technologies.
