What IS Compliance Support does…
This IS Compliance Support team provides technology leadership, development, support, enhancements and projects for the Compliance division. This team supports the following major systems: Outside Activities, Background Review, Firm Licensing, Verification Letters, and Automated Account Approval.
What You'll Do...
• Plan, direct, and manage the activities of a team of associates/contractors responsible for the support, development, and implementation of US and Canadian IS Compliance systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships within and across teams, business areas, and vendors.
• Align team activities and responsibilities with the firm's strategic direction.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements.
• Develop and execute on-going improvements to support and other team activities.
• Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.
• Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to associates through examples and timely feedback.
• Develop successors for key positions within the team.
• Lead by example, demonstrating firm values.
Position Requirements
What You'll Need…
Information Systems at Edward Jones is looking for a qualified, experienced, and talented individual to lead, motivate, and develop the IS Compliance Support team. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with information systems development and support, and at least one year leadership experience within a technical environment. Knowledge of web technologies and Data Analytics/Big Data is a plus. Candidate must also have strong communication, organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Minimum five years of experience directly related to Information Systems technology.
• Strong communication, organizational, time management and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• FINRA Series 7 license required within one year of hire date
