At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Assist the Revenue Management Workgroup in defining the Executive Steering Committee's (ESC) Revenue Management improvement goals.
• Assist in identifying on-going initiatives that already support the goals defined, and inform the ESC of initiatives’ status, inviting relevant stakeholders to present their initiatives.
• Foster an understanding of the impact of Client revenue management activities on its internal and external stakeholders through clear communications channels.
• Develop supporting work products or artifacts to communicate ESC activities.
• Develop a Concept of Operations (CONOPS) describing the proposed future state of Revenue Management in terms of the organizational need, its relationship to existing assets and initiatives, and recommended new initiatives.
• Develop executive-level briefs with concise messaging in a compelling format (e.g., info-graphics).
• Record executive-level discussion in well-written minutes.
• Manage documentation on SharePoint.
• Track task completion in MS Project and SharePoint.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Qualifications
• Strong technical writer (strategic communications background preferred).
• Strong researcher.
• Strong strategic thinker.
• Strategic planning preferred.
• SharePoint preferred.
• Visio preferred.
• Project preferred.
• PowerPoint preferred.
• Excel preferred.
• Word preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
• U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
• Travel may be required.
• Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
• Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
• Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
