Job Description
The Compensation Analyst II develops and fosters relationships with senior management to understand and support senior management’s compensation needs. This job consults on various matters such as organizational structure, job family design, and job enrichment. The Compensation Analyst II reviews job content and organizational information from business clients and composes job descriptions. The job independently evaluates jobs based on external competitiveness and internal equity to determine position grades. The job also initiates and participates in other salary and incentive design and administration functions. The Compensation Analyst II owns and manages incentive plans and calculations related to these plans for AMCB (30+ different plans).
Job Requirements
• Administers variable pay plans or other compensation programs according to established procedures and guidelines. Ensures administrative compliance with Company policies, resolves complex issues, and occasionally refers out-of-policy issues to management. Makes recommendations to modify policies and procedures to prevent recurring issues. Implements procedural changes as approved.
• Calculates incentive payouts in collaboration with Finance and other areas of the Bank and forecasts with Finance all AMCB incentive plan payouts/budget.
• Makes recommendations on global incentive plans in partnership with federated team that are usually approved.
• Trains employees.
• Provides forecasting, in partnership with finance, for all AMCB incentive plan payouts/budget.
• Implements and administers compensation plans assuming responsibility for particular plans ad projects as assigned.
• Ensures compliance of job descriptions with applicable laws and regulations including FLSA, ADA, ADEA, and other related employment laws.
• Analyzes compensation-related organizational and corporate statistical data through the use of multiple systems/databases and develops recommendations for management based on findings.
• Participates in external salary surveys including data preparation, compilation, refining, transmission, and follow-up. Establishes relationship with survey vendors and provides feedback about survey content.
