Position Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Strategic Market Director in the attainment of short-term and long-term business and financial results for an assigned market. Responsibilities include providing direction to Team Leaders in the areas of Cash Logistics, Operations, HR, Safety and Security. Develops strategy and vision to lead and motivate team members to the best results and to meet financial budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports the Strategic Market Director in providing the leadership necessary to organize the market logistics and aggressively develop all product lines within the market.
• Leads the Money Processing operations within one of the strategic markets.
• Identifies ways to improve management of costs, continually improves efficiencies and drives services to positively impact business results in the market.
• Provides the leadership necessary to organize and aggressively develop the product lines within the assigned market.
• Responsible for the overall market management and successful integration and partnering with all Brink’s product lines.
• Establishes profitable relationships with all levels of key client and prospect organizations by maintaining good communications and service levels with customers.
• Ensures appropriate staff levels to sustain and grow the business throughout the market.
• Ensures proper recruitment, selection and training, while mentoring, coaching, and overseeing the development of the management team assigned to the market.
• Proactively reduces risk exposure and ensures implementation of measures to reduce worker’s compensation injury costs and security losses within the market.
• Establishes and maintains accountability on all levels of the market. Maintains positive Employee Relations and work environment.
• Maintains the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis.
• Maintains high ethical standards and protects the Brink’s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectations.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in a cash or coin processing environment
• Minimum of 2 year of supervisory experience in a production environment
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Minimum of 21 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cash handling experience in the secure logistics or banking industry
• Experience in a coin processing environment
• Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Skills:
• Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
