Summary
The CVP, GAAP Reporting Group will act as the lead for the AnC Corporate GAAP Reporting team.
Responsibilities
The GAAP Reporting Lead will manage a large team of over 10 full-time employees and 6 contractors with varying responsibilities, including the following:
• GAAP Consolidated & NYLIAC Financial Results including YE Audit, Controllers Book, Intercompany Accounting, Quarterly Consolidations
• Asset Management Reporting including maintaining the books and records for various subs and working with the AnC Asset Management to produce NYLIM Holdings Audited Financials as well as Quarterly Controllers Book
• Maintain the books and records of all other non-insurance subs and act as Controller; present financial results to the subs various Board of Directors
• Prepare Management Results for Operating Earnings as well as Core Earnings working closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to opine on definition and to ensure completeness of results
Qualifications
• 7+ years related experience required
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience in a managerial role

2. Assets under management represent Consolidated Domestic and International insurance Company Statutory assets (cash and invested assets and separate account assets) and third party assets principally managed by New York Life Investment management Holdings LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.
