We are currently seeking a skilled Editor to join our Moss Adams Advisory Services group (MAAS). The ideal candidate would have solid technical editing skills, a creative eye for design and detail, an outstanding service attitude, and a commitment to professional excellence with high standards and a strong ability to follow through.
Responsibilities:
• Create, edit, and format template-driven client deliverables (e.g., reports, proposals, presentations) with speed and accuracy
• Develop highly visual templates and graphic materials in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel using internal branding
• Proofread documents to ensure quality control and alignment with firm style standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues in text, graphic files, and printing
• Anticipate client needs and proactively plan work and create timelines
• Effectively communicate and negotiate project deadlines and schedule changes as necessary
• Update Report Control Sheets and all databases required to track work product
• Assist with copying, binding, and shipping documents, as needed
• Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services firm
• Excellent proofreading and English language skills, grammar, spelling and syntax
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint to create, edit, and format templates and graphics
• Prior experience in web publishing a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to type 45 wpm or more
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational abilities
• Client service-oriented (both internal and external)
• Ability to work as a contributing member of a team
• Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Creative and persistent problem solver
• Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
