The Sales Training and Logistics Specialist is responsible for training of new and existing commercial insurance producers and account managers, development and upgrades to sales training material, and logistic for training and team events. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of adult leaning principles, and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Training: Design and develop and relevant training content based on business needs and growth. Partner with Sales Coaches and Sales Leaders to identify training development needs, gather data, and develop key learning for training and feedback.
• Evaluate Training: Assess the effectiveness of key training initiatives using surveys, analyzing results and/or collecting performance measurements
• Deliver Training: Deliver vendor and proprietary training using a variety of platforms including live classroom and webinars
• Support Training: Manage event logistics for team including location, materials, and registration process
• Reporting: Assist with the compilation and maintenance of department reports for senior leadership review
• Train the Trainer: Work with Sales Leaders to assist in their delivery of various training programs for the regions
• Special Projects: Perform a wide range of assigned tasks based on client and departmental demands specific to training
Required Experience:
• Minimum two years of sales training or business presentation experience
• Experience in project management or event panning
• Insurance background a plus
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows environment
• Experience with adult learning principles, methodologies, and course design techniques
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
