The Finance Regulatory Reporting (FRR) group resides within Corporate Controllers. FRR is responsible for producing accurate, timely, and well-controlled regulatory reports and ensuring that data are reported in accordance with published guidance. The candidate will serve as the FR Y-14Q report preparer reporting directly to the report owner. The report preparer is responsible for working cross-functionally with several stakeholders across Risk and Finance to obtain, analyze, reconcile, and report required data in conformance with the FR Y-14Q instructions. The successful candidate will help drive change by continuously improving the reporting process and ensuring that all data are acquired through a well-controlled process. The role requires a detail oriented self-starter who operates with a sense of urgency in order to meet reporting deadlines & respond promptly to regulator and management inquiries/requests. This is a highly visible role with exposure to Finance senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of experience in regulatory reporting preferred. Experience in external reporting and/or internal audit preferred. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in FR Y-14Q and/or FR Y-14M reporting is preferred. Other regulatory reporting (FR Y-9C, FFIEC 101) experience is beneficial, but not required
• Experience analyzing/working with large data sets is essential. Candidate should have advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Strong internal control mindset
• Ability to lead & influence without having positional authority
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or other related area is a plus
