As a member of the enterprise marketing team, the Marketing Manager of Collateral is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of marketing programs for assigned business units.
Management or Supervision: No
Major Responsibilities:
• Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives relative to product development, existing product enhancements, distribution channels, and brand/advertising programs in support of the assigned business unit’s goals.
• Manage and maintain business units existing collateral and oversee the development of new creative
• Manage/monitor development of direct mail and collateral as required by the assigned business; develop project-specific marketing/creative strategy documents for the effective development and distribution of these projects to agencies and vendors.
• Manage agencies and vendor relationships as well as management of internal third party risk processes
• Oversee efforts of multiple functional areas, monitor progress, and make recommendations on work flow and timeliness to achieve completion of approved marketing programs in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
• Work with appropriate areas to monitor, analyze, and enhance efficiency and performance of assigned projects and marketing programs on an on-going basis.
• Forge close and strategic partnerships with multiple internal groups, including assigned business stakeholders, legal, compliance, product and operations.
Qualifications
Education, Licensure, Year of Experience (and type of work experience):
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience including the development of collateral (flyers, brochures, etc.)
• Experience in development of regulatory disclosures and working with compliance partners preferred
• Direct mail management and execution experience including creative development, list management and project oversight is preferred, but no required
• Experience working with creative development teams (internal and external.)
• Print production experience is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of financial services experience is preferred
• Experience working with internal risk, compliance, and legal stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to influence others and achieve business outcomes on time and within budget
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner
• High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
• Experience in navigating business partners with effective communication and positive relationships are valuable
• Passion for promoting a collaborative culture with strong problem solving skills
• Strong experience in project management skills and the ability to work independently to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast paced and matrix organization
• Ability to make copywriting suggestions and edits
