Job Description Summary
Establish, build and maintain relationships within the industry and identify new relationships with existing and potential Distribution that have consumers whose needs align with the solutions the Transamerica products offer.
Responsibilities
• Manage, coach and mentor our internal Cedar Rapids Sales Support Account Management team.
• Actively manage to our key account relationships in the direct marketer and nontraditional distribution marketplace.
• Works with internal stakeholders to improve our adviser and customer experience.
• Work jointly with Sales Operations team to onboard new distributors.
• Drive the execution/implementation of assigned initiatives within timeline Solicit, develop and maintain key relationships with internal business partners, institutional clients and external entities.
• Achieve business objectives that support driving sales growth, producer engagement, profitability, etc.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10 years business experience with 5+ years B2B sales and marketing experience
• Demonstrated 5-7 years of sales and operational management experience
• Combination of sales acumen and deep knowledge of life insurance products and sales concepts
• Ability to develop and sustain long-term plans
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate degree in business discipline
• Professional designation – CLU, ChFC, CFP
• FINRA Series 6 or 7
• Life & Health Insurance license
Behavioral & Leadership Competencies
• Excellent communication skills including superior public speaking skills
• Project management experience with ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
