Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing commercial loan activity in a geographical region.
-Grow revenue by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining/expanding existing customer relationships
-Call on existing or prospective customers to develop new business, expand existing business, maintain good customer relations, and ensure proper servicing of accounts
-Establish sales goals and strategies for region and assess performance against set goals periodically with management
-Establish service policies and standards for commercial accounts, in order to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
-Perform in a high visibility, leadership role in the community served
-Exercise management and administrative control over the functions of the region, including participation in the sales strategy, budget process, implementation of regional policies, and explanation of company program and objectives
-Maintain visibility in the market by representing UMB at community related, business and philanthropic events
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
-10 + years of related commercial experience.
-5 years of sales experience
Preferred Requirements
-Bachelor's degree with concentration in business administration or finance
-Previous experience managing people
-Previous experience managing people across multiple physical locations
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
-Demonstrates extensive knowledge of credit administration
-Demonstrates a Understanding of Financial Acumen
-Demonstrates excellent knowledge of commercial products and services and the bank operations
-Demonstrates strong ability to be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative
-Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
-Demonstrates customer-centric focus while having proven sales success
-Demonstrates ability to address customer objections and concerns positively
-Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
-Demonstrates strong executive presence
-Demonstrates ability to influence upper management
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
