Wipfli is currently seeking a Manager of Transaction Support Services in our Chicago, Milwaukee, or Green Bay Offices. This role will be responsible for the continued growth of our Transaction Services. This position will assist clients in performing due diligence and quality of earning analysis, and transaction/acquisition support. Transaction services proficiency or an audit background with exposure to M&A is preferred. The position provides advisory services, financial analytics and expertise to clients and members of the Transaction Services and Wipfli Corporate Finance (primarily) and Valuation Forensics and Litigation Support (secondarily) practices. Responsible for data gathering, analysis, assisting with marketing and business development, and preparing recommendations to clients.
Responsibilities
• Manages transaction services engagements
• Support and strengthen private equity relationships
• Provide support to existing Wipfli clients that are acquisitive
• Analyze client financial data to identify trends, GAAP departures and operational characteristics
• Trains junior staff
• Participates in quality control
• Participate in networking and business development activities
• Ability to travel – 25% to 50% of the time
Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial statement audit, investment banking, private equity, corporate development or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA required and CFA a plus
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
