The Client Servicing Business Analyst performs business analysis, research, and testing to support key business initiatives and maintain and implement BBH products and solutions. Liaises with clients to ensure appropriate communication and follow through of activities. Collaborates with the external client and internal business areas to ensure the correct business functionality, operational workflows, client and technology requirements, and industry standards are addressed within the envisioned solution.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Area of Responsibility
1. Business Analysis
-Participate in internal and external client workshops/meetings to gather, understand, and document project goals, workflows, business needs, gaps, and opportunities; Apply industry knowledge and standards to BBH products and client workflows to ensure the most efficient and effective solutions
-Effectively research, capture, analyze and communicate service level issues to internal team members and facilitate their ultimate resolution in a timely manner
-Conduct business analysis efforts for projects and initiatives; Determine how changing business needs will affect the system or product; Accurately communicate the business need and potential solution in terms that team members can understand; Review documentation related to the approved solution and manage implementation
2. Problem Solving
-Solve problems as needed by proposing insightful, knowledgeable, effective solutions
-Assist Supervisors in the development of operational workflow solutions inclusive of BBH products in an effort to solve client workflow issues
3. Process Improvement
-Effectively communicate operational workflow changes to team while keeping client requirements in mind
-Proactively identify and incorporate process improvements for the Team to continually improve our efficiency and lower the cost of doing business; Partner with peers, Supervisors and CSRMs to develop, and implement service level improvements and departmental projects.

-Clients, team and business areas to ensure business standards are met; share/exchange information
-CSR and Sr CSRs how work is organized and completed resulting from workflow analysis and participation in new client initiatives and internal business development changes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet minimum requirements for this position.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
-BA/BS and/or equivalent work experience
-3 to 5 years related work experience
-Financial services industry knowledge and experience preferred.
-Basic understanding of custody operations and fund accounting workflows, as well as an understanding of the key roles assumed by Custodians, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, and Transfer Agents a plus
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
-Proficiency using windows-based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
-Understanding of SWIFT messaging and other systems and Internet technologies preferred
-Superior problem-solving and analytical skills; Possesses the ability to solve difficult problems through proposing and implementing effective solutions.
-Ability to recognize own strengths and limitations, taking appropriate initiative to pursue development activities and seek assistance as needed
-Proactive and results oriented
-Strong organizational skills; Asks good questions and looks beyond the obvious
-Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of client service by exceeding the expectations of both internal and external clients
