Job Description Summary
Provide the cash management and treasury department with operational support of the Treasury Workstation, wire desk operations and/or cash forecasting.
• May provide back up for daily treasury operations or cash management activities (Treasury Workstation, Funding and/or Cash Modeling.)
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships; serve as liaison to functional units and banks, acting as an advisor on banking for the functional units.
• Responsible for operating Treasury workstation and processes wire transfers and ACH transactions.
• Assist with the setup of bank accounts, services and other banking needs for the business units.
• Research basic questions and issues.
• Assist with processing all requests for new LOCs, amendments to LOCs (increases, decreases, or non-monetary changes), or terminations of LOCs and updating systems to reflect such actions and related LOC administration tasks.
• Identify efficiencies within procedures and/or systems and suggest useful alternatives and methods for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, banks and business units.
• Provide strong customer service to internal/external customers.
• Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business degree.
• Up to 2 years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business degree.
• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• CTP a plus.
• Banking or insurance industry experience highly desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other pertinent computer applications.
• Knowledge of Transamerica structure and business, as well as statutory company structure a plus.
