As part of Duff & Phelps, The Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice is a prestigious business strategy and regulatory consulting group, which is seeking an Analyst for its Cybersecurity Services team in its New York office. The Firm’s clients are primarily registered investment advisers including, but not limited to, private equity firms, hedge funds, and venture capital firms.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage projects with a focus on developing and implementing cybersecurity programs for registered investment advisers. Duties will consist of, but are not limited to:
• Creating and developing cybersecurity policies and procedures
• Scheduling and leading calls and meetings to collect information related to a client’s technical environment for OCIE report and policy drafting purposes
• Sending due diligence questionnaires to third-party service providers, tracking responses and submissions received, and collecting other pertinent information during the due diligence exercise
• Scheduling phishing exams and training for clients using a third-party tool managed by the Cybersecurity team
• Completing projects within a given deadline and meeting client expectations for project completion
• Continuously tracking and monitoring assigned projects to ensure completion in a timely manner
• Following up with clients, third parties, and other relevant parties on a regular basis to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
• Updating internal project management trackers, client folders, and other documents throughout the project lifecycle
• Drafting marketing material, news alerts, and other literary pieces for a client-facing audience
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree required with a major or minor in business or business administration
• Business orientated and result driven individual with a desire to grow in a developing team
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and maintain strong client relationships
• Ability and willingness to take on projects outside of the regular scope of work
• Adapting to new business processes as the team expands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Strong, independent self-starter, as well as collaborative problem solver
Preferred:
• 1-2 years of business-related experience
