Job Description

As an Operations Admin Intermediate you will be responsible for completing tasks that will that support mitigating losses and creating customer satisfaction. Adherence to our policies are key to our success, having fun and maintaining a positive attitude is required! Responsibility for a wide variety of operational support to related administrative functions such as extension exception processing, extension testing, repossession review, charge-off processing, and handling collection documents, etc. Work may be complex and require using multiple software systems. Work requires organizational skills to accomplish tasks within the framework of established guidelines and regulatory requirements. guidelines. While initially assigned to one focus area, employees can expect to learn all roles within the department. Detailed instructions are provided for new or more complex assignments or procedural changes and supervisor support is available. This position will provide appropriate adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. Employees are responsible for working in a team environment focused on building relationships to meet operational needs together.
Job Responsibilities
• Extension Exceptions
• Process Extension Exceptions through Customer Care software (Salesforce)
• Process Extension Exceptions through Collections software (Shaw)
• Review and process incoming virtual mail for Extensions
• Meet established productivity and quality metric
• Review the Extensions processed report and test accounts for accuracy
• Review account for charge off eligibility
• Calculate accurate amount
• Obtain proper approvals
• Process with 100% accuracy
• Must be available for month end processing schedule
• Process manual letter requests for collections including cure notices and debt validation
• Review and process incoming virtual mail for Collections
• Process collection demographic changes
• Gathering data and reporting on production metrics
• Skip trace on accounts as needed
• Extension Testing
• Charge Off Processing
• Miscellaneous
Qualifications
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in financial services or similar industry. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for the experience.
• Basic knowledge of general/standard office and administrative procedures and methods
• Be flexible and a creative thinker
• Basic data entry and word processing skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of Ally systems (CARS, Shaw, etc) preferred
• Demonstrate a blend of business and technical proficiency combined with administrative expertise in the financial services industry
• Manage multiple tasks, remain organized and be detail oriented
• Comprehension and judgment are required to determine the applicability of guidelines or policies to specific situations. Some ingenuity and initiative required to collect information, coordinate activities with others, and resolve routine and/or factual problems.
