Job Summary:
This function covers operations activities which are commonly found in financial services firms and are not specific to a particular business. Roles covered in this function include: Funds Transfer, Collateral Management / Margins, Corporate Actions / Income Processing, Static Data / Data Management, Reconciliation/Investigation, Client Valuations / Pricing, Network Management, Know Your Client/Client Onboarding and Control. Incumbents at this level may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence. Typically referred to as technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resource. Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies. Individual at this level has a clear understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
• 2 to 5 years banking experience.
• Up to 3 years’ experience in ACH/ EFT (Electronic Funds Transfers).
• Working knowledge of PEP+ and Applications is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in selected PC Applications.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple job duties.
• Flexibility with hours as process must be covered at all times.
• Operations back office industry experience required.
• Education - Higher education preferred with banking and financial background.
