MIM is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Eagle PACE system on a global scale, beginning with the US investment business located in Philadelphia.
The individual will report to the US Head of the PMO and will work closely with Investment, Operations, Compliance and IT professionals in all MIM locations. The position is based in Philadelphia and travel to other locations is expected to be 20% - 30%.
The initial assignment for this position will be to manage the overall PACE implementation. Proven experience managing Eagle PACE implementations and first-hand knowledge of the software is required. Proactive project management skills and comfort operating with low levels of direct supervision are essential for success. The position requires experience managing stakeholder engagement, communications, project planning, execution monitoring and the identification and resolving of issues and risks.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with technology and vendor leadership to develop, lead and manage project plans to successful completion
• Lead project team through formal and informal relationships
• Create and manage project teams for selected solutions/projects as needed
• Identify, track and resolve issues that arise on the project
• Execute specific tasks as needed on project initiatives
• Interact with internal and external vendors and consultants as needed
• Analyze and recommend improvements for business processes
• Present and/or report progress and status of initiatives to project teams and interested parties
• Develop and present project updates to senior management, including Steering Committee members
• Proactive stakeholder engagement
• Provide informal Project Management mentorship for other members of the group
• Collaborate with other business and IT project managers in Sydney, Australia and other MIM locations
• Foster a teamwork environment among the PMO team members and project team
• Participate in prioritization and assignment of project work for the group
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Articulate, succinct, respectful and confident written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Highly effective meeting management and participation skills
• Analyze complex business problems and generate creative solutions
• Comfortably interact with all levels of the organization and external vendors
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-starter who is comfortable with delegation and direction setting to senior-level staff
• Proven experience implementing Eagle PACE
• Solid desktop PC skills, including MS Office, MS Project and Visio
Preferred experience
• Over 10 years related investment management experience including business, technical or project management
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in project management
• “Big 4” Consultant experience preferred
