Description
We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Inventory Finance team in Schaumburg, IL
TCF Inventory Finance, Inc. (TCFIF) seeks highly-qualified candidates for the role of Inside Sales Representative. You must have 3+ years inside sales experience leading qualified prospects through the entire sales cycle, preferably selling an intangible product or service. You must have exemplary phone skills for both cold prospecting and providing urgent follow through. Qualified candidates will have successful experience in a collaborative sales environment working closely with Business Development Representatives to meet and exceed territory goals.
The TCFIF Inside Sales Representative calls on small businesses in the retail Appliance, Electronics, Powersports, Marine, Recreational Vehicle and other industries. Prior experience prospecting, selling and servicing business owners is essential. Must have basic understanding of business metrics and knowledge of business financing products is very helpful. Experience working for commission or performance-based compensation preferred.
TCFIF seeks candidates with proven inside sales skills, stellar organizational abilities plus the vitality to thrive in a fast-paced environment where the expectation every day is to win. Should have experience with Salesforce.com/other CRM and training in sales methodology, Sandler System preferred. French Canadian fluency very helpful. Occasional overnight travel required.
Major Areas of Accountability: (Approx % of Time)
• 60% - Execute strategic account plans on new customer leads and process new business applications to grow volume and profitability while maintaining proactive customer service. Initiate sales calls on new and existing leads to present features, benefits, and advantages of financial products to close new customer deals
• 20% - Establish and maintain strong relationships with accounts to ensure customer retention by supporting dealers through the customer qualification process. Enhance customer service through continual execution of TCF's service model.
• 10% - Maintain compliance with established policies, processes, and procedures, while also ensuring compliance to approval authorities at all times.
• 10% - Special Projects to be completed as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years sales experience.
• Interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ years sales experience.
• Working knowledge of credit disciplines.
