ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP with CLIENT ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week, competitive compensation. Schedule is negotiable.
Length: 10 weeks – starting Summer - 2018
Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial statements for a portfolio of properties, including General Ledger month-end close, actual to budget variance review, cash management, bank reconciliations and spreadsheet preparation
• Assist in preparing additional schedules, which are required to support account balances or are specifically required by owners
• Ensure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly
• Assist with and perform any other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements:
• Intended major in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills
• Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
Strong attention to detail and proficient time management and the ability to excel in a fast paced environment
