Description
This person will manage a portfolio of commercial real estate credit relationships – including gathering, analyzing and underwriting all asset, business and personal financial data collected for the purpose of issuing, extending, amending, reviewing, monitoring and testing a commercial real estate credit facilities. The Employee is expected to liaise between all parties to ensure timely and efficient execution that meets the expectations of the Borrowers, Lenders, and Administration Team. Additionally, the Employee is responsible for expanding their relationships by cross-selling the Banks products and services when appropriate.
Employee is specifically responsible for:
• Managing credit relationships;
• Underwriting real estate commercial credit requests;
• Preparing Credit Approval Presentations (“CAPs”);
• Renewing timely and accurately risk rating the loans in their portfolio;
• Supporting due diligence and loan documentation efforts;
• Assisting with loan monitoring and testing requirements;
• Developing their relationship management, credit analysis and credit administration skills

Qualifications
• BS/BA in Finance/Business/Accounting or equivalent experience
• 3+ years work experience in a financial institution with a focus on commercial real estate credit analysis or underwriting. Relationship management experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Employee is expected to gain a basic knowledge of commercial loan documentation; market and industry risks; and regulatory requirements.
