Contribute to the performance of the office by providing day-to-day administrative support to Brokerage Production Team
Required Qualifications:
• Four year college degree (or equivalent in work experience in the insurance industry, administration or related field)
• Secure a Property and Casualty Insurance license within 6 months (company pays for class and 1 attempt at the test)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Responsibilities:
• Submission Processing for Brokerage with Producer/Account Executive instructions:
1. Enter, Update and Maintain agent and client detail in AIM and IR
2. Submit to markets
3. Update and/or maintain submission log
• Preparing and typing quotes for Account Executives/Managers
• Process Confirmation of Insurer Binding notices:
1. Request to bind to Carrier
2. Complete necessary Compliance Information – SLT and Affidavits
3. Process confirmation of binding and invoice
4. Premium Finance Agreements as requested
• Policies
1. Follow up for policies from carriers
2. Follow up for subjectivities needed for policy issuance
3. Check policies for accuracy upon receipt
4. Send policies to compliance for stamping if applicable
5. Process endorsement requests
6. Process certificates of insurance
• Communicates with Agents, Insureds, and Underwriters on a daily basis, as well as, meets with Company Representatives upon request
• Serve as back up to Brokerage Production Team
1. Sales Team specifically
2. Account Executive/Producer for the department when necessary
• Maintain Continuing Education for license and professional designation(s)
