Job Description:
The Corporate Banking Group Hub Closing Specialist orchestrates the closing process, interacting with borrowers, outside counsel, bank associates, and a variety of third parties.
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
Primary Responsibilities
•Ability to draft and review loan documentation and is expected to understand the risks associated with closing various types of loans
•Will be in constant communication with the Relationship Manager, Portfolio Manager or Underwriter, and closing attorney during the closing activity as it relates to a review of loan documentation, title and other due diligence
•Ensures the loan is closed and funded per the loan approval and that supporting documentation conforms to loan approval and policy
•Identify issues related to documentation, policy or regulatory exceptions
•Contribute to the formulation of plans to mitigate risks
Requirements
•High School education or GED and 2 years of related banking experience.
Preferences
•College degree or technical school certification
