At CoBank, our Treasury Analyst within the Association Finance group provides customer service and maintains relationships with CoBank’s association customers regarding transfer pricing issues, financial modeling, and systems development. In addition, this position participates in the development and maintenance of risk management products offered to associations.
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly driven, organized, creative problem solver to deliver data-driven risk insights. The position has a high-level view of the bank as well as a strong understanding of the details. In this role, there is an opportunity to attribute your own sense of character to this position from a system/business process perspective, as well as a concept of process improvement. In the role, you will work in the treasury group where you will have exposure to all areas in our treasury division. This is a high profile position, working with our 20+ association customers and various levels within these associations. If you are someone that enjoys making a position your own, is comfortable working in a changing business environment and wants no two days to be the same, then this position is for you!
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury environment, preferably in banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cash-flow discounting methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong personal computer skills with extensive database software and management experience.
• Experience creating reports/dashboards through SQL, Access, Crystal Reports or similar tool.
• Experience maintaining scrips, VBA and macros.
• Experience with process automation and innovation.
• Experience managing business processes and maintaining integrity of data management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within pressing time constraints.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply financial theories and concepts to solve problems.
• Occasional travel required.
• Banking or financial services industry experience.
