POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility of this role is focused on two major areas: Revenue management for recordkeeping fees and driving integration and key milestones to enable fee billing and fee leveling strategies. This role will partner with key partners within the Institutional Strategic pricing team and with key stakeholders within the business and operational areas that support these efforts. This role will help migrate the function to a more strategic, predictive and innovative framework. Key attributes for this role include strong relationship management skills, team management skills, business partnering and influencing, strong communication skills, strong analytical skills and experience driving process improvement. This role will require someone who is a self-starter, and someone who can manage multiple strategic initiatives and drive change independently across multiple areas across TIAA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Position description:
*Strategic, innovative, collaborative and team leader
*Knowledge and experience with fee leveling, fee billing and recordkeeping revenue credits
*Process redesign skill set to help transform function to strategic and predictive
*Partner to develop simplified training framework for Fee Leveling Strategies and drive key milestones to expand presence.
*Drive key milestones and integration points to expand Fee Billing capabilities and establish operational rigor, controls and role clarity across cross-functional teams.
*Partner with the broader Institutional Pricing team to help evolve overall function to a more strategic and innovative organization which includes the introduction of advanced technologies
*Establish clear connections between Pricing terms and conditions, contractual language, and the implementation of client reconciliations in accordance with marketplace best practices and the segments – drive to an automated solution around this work
*Regularly interacts with Managing Directors, Directors from the business and finance, colleagues and Pricing Leaders and peers. Interactions require successful negotiating and influence regarding matters of importance to the organization
*Lead activities that deliver measureable, cost-effective results that support segments’ business strategy.
*Partner with key stakeholders to provide education and optimal solutions to drive efficiencies and improve quality in the Revenue Credit process
*Influence Revenue Credit strategy execution and development to ensure alignment with client retention and growth strategy
*Drive transparency around client economic impacts to influence key business decisions
Responsibilities:
*Establish streamlined and simplified process for reconciliation of Revenue credit account management and fee generation
*Provide recommendations for new capabilities and execute towards agreed upon strategies
*Drive end to end process redesign of Revenue management for record keeping fees
*Drive integration, consistency and establish key controls for revenue management and fee strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
*5-7 years of finance experience in progressively larger roles. Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within the financial services or related industries
*Specific knowledge of industry fee leveling / billing strategies and associated impacts to client recordkeeping plans
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or related discipline required.
*Must have experience in Financial Services industry, particularly Retirement Services or Asset Management
