Description
Ready to "Roar" into action and join our Branch Banking Team as a Lead Teller? We are seeking a Lead Teller to function as the bank's primary contact with the public and provide industry leading customer service while overseeing the efficient operation of the teller station. This position requires working alongside the teller line to coach, support and train both new and existing tellers in a fast-paced enviorment.
As a Lead Teller, you will guide and motivate one to three tellers to ensure the team's daily functions are performed properly. In addition, you will serve customers by processing a variety of transactions, investigate transaction errors and prepare correcting entries to the general ledger and customer accounts.
Our Expectations for ourLead Tellers:
• Evaluate, recommend and inform customers of appropriate bank products and services to assist the client in meeting their financial goals in areas such as mortgage, brokerage and commercial areas of the bank.
• Assist new tellers with the transition between training and indepenent job performance.
• Encourage and motivate tellers to achieve and exceed branch goals.
• Perform duties in accordance with all related policies and procedures.
