In this role, the SVP / Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis, including divisional profitability, strategic decision making, cost/benefit analysis of business initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the leadership and overall management of the company-wide divisional profitability
• Directly contribute towards the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports including budgets, forecasts, and other strategic financial models for executive leadership as well as the Board of Directors
• Identify inconsistencies within the business units and divisons and set standards for budgeting, performance metrics and reporting
• Maintain and implement financial policies and procedures that relate to the forecast, budget, and divisional profitability processes
• Directly participate in M&A initiatives, including assisting with transaction planning, due diligence support, and integration
• Synthesize, summarize and provide critical thinking for senior executives on financial matters across the company’s various business units
• Develop, implement and upgrade financial systems and control; driving process change to drive efficiencies in overall business units, finance and business processes
• Develop and maintain methodology of cost allocations
• Handle other duties, as needed
Requirements:
• 10+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Previous experience in the Financial Services industry with specific experience in retail home loans and consumer loans a plus
• Experience with: Budgeting; Forecasting; Planning; and, Trend / Variance Analysis
• Expert in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle Planning, Board and Tableau
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance
