General Management - M3 Manages a medium- to large-sized team or multiple small teams. Sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan. Manages activities through other managers or a large team of senior professionals. Develops a shared vision and strategy to optimize team execution and performance. Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities. Ensures the work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback at the most critical times. Develops standard processes and policies for assigned areas and ensures they are operationalized by subordinate teams. Manages one or more teams. Responsible for the achievement of team objectives. Typically has financial and human resources responsibility for assigned teams.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred. Experience in securities or financial services preferred.
