SUMMARY
Operates a multi-line phone system, directs calls, greets visitors, and performs other light clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Receives calls on a multi-line phone system and screens and/or directs calls to appropriate department and/or staff member, and obtains proper information from caller such as caller's name, nature of business, and person being called upon.
• Screens and transfers calls to appropriate offsite loan representatives; obtains proper information from caller such as caller's name, nature of business, and person being called upon; and monitors calls when loan representatives are unavailable.
• Greets screens and/or directs visitors to appropriate department and/or staff member by obtaining the proper information such as visitor’s name, nature of business, and person being called upon.
• Enters new loan and cancellation notices data from source documents into various computer systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Mortgage department procedures.
• Types various memos and business correspondence ensuring accuracy and completeness and provides administrative support to management and staff members.
• Orders, stocks, and maintains inventory of product forms and office supplies to include shipping supplies of off-sight employees.
• Assists in the typing and development of marketing materials.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Must have at least one (1) year receptionist, customer service, general clerical or related experience.
• Must have experience with copy and fax machines and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Must have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to type 35 wpm accurately.
• Must be able to lift 10 - 20 lbs. of office supplies and/or marketing materials.
