Summary
This position works with the QA Manager to develop and execute the corporate-wide Quality Assurance Program (QA Program) for the Corporation’s BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance Programs; supervises a small team of QA analysts; and is responsible for conducting QA reviews of new and existing products and services, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews, other BSA/AML and OFAC controls and processes throughout the Corporation to identify potential deficiencies, assist with the review of AML and Fraud alerts, cases and Suspicious Activity Reports, and assist with the Enterprise-wide BSA/AML, OFAC, and Fraud Risk Assessments, among other assigned projects. Also assists with preparing QA reports of review findings, recommended enhancements, and the status of corrective actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a BSA/AML and OFAC - QA program that reflects industry best practices.
• Analyze and communicate proposed enhancements to address identified risks or gaps in BSA/AML and OFAC compliance procedures and processes.
• Supervise QA analysts to ensure their assigned tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain a QA database containing the results of QA reviews and tracks recommended corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the results of the QA testing.
• Assist with the Enterprise-wide BSA/AML, OFAC, and Fraud Risk Assessments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AML and OFAC regulations, systems and reports.
• Assist in reviewing, testing, evaluating and documenting the adequacy of AML, OFAC and fraud mitigation controls as documented in the organization’s risk assessments.
• Recommend controls enhancements to AML, OFAC and Fraud Mitigation Compliance Program, policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to business unit management and Financial Crimes Risk Management staff members with regard to the results of QA reviews.
• Provide training to business unit and support personnel to address exam, audit or QA deficiencies.
• Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required, Minimum 3-5 years employment experience with a BSA/AML compliance department, internal audit department (conducting AML and OFAC audits), or regulatory agency.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software. This position requires constant use of the computer throughout the day which requires good computer skills to navigate through core system and related/required software.
Certificates and Licenses
Professional certification (e,g., ACAMS, CFE) is strongly preferred.
