SUMMARY
Provides all pre-sales and implementation support functions for payment protection products from RFP report compilation to post-issue production reporting for Financial Institution (FI) Customers. Is an active member of the implementation/integration team, working with both internal and external partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Requests initial payment protection quotes from the carriers. Updates and maintains Salesforce. Participates in the discovery process and provides information to the carriers. Reviews formal payment protection quotes received from carriers and works with the team to determine which one best meets the FI’s needs. Compiles comprehensive presentation for delivery to the FI by the sales team.
• Assists with analyzing the monthly outstanding balance reports, verifies account parameters (i.e. rates, benefits, and age limits) are correct; if not, initiates an investigation to correct any erroneous items with both SWBC and the FI. Conducts testing of premium calculations for internal and external software. Verifies accuracy of data compilation for internal business reviews.
• Works directly with professional form vendors and insurance carriers in the delivery and implementation of comprehensive laser forms for both new and existing accounts. Prepares/builds form sets for carrier approval according to quotes provided for Credit Insurance and Debt Cancellation.
• Assists with the management of the administration of the internal Payment Protection Database.
• Manages the internal Pipeline Report. Develops and maintains metrics for proposal cycle times.
• Conducts training with the FI on automated processes (i.e. premium remittance and claims). Creates account-specific product training and sales tools for use by the FI.
• Manages current and ongoing licensing roster of the appointed financial institutions to ensure compliance with sales and receipt of commissions.
• Maintains all administration and contract files for each respective FI.
• Performs other duties as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience supporting and administering payment protection products with knowledge of technology interfaces and dependencies.
• Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products, including Visio and Publisher, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Payment Protection Database, Loan Calculation software, and IBM AS400 system.
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to type at least 40 wpm accurately.
• Must be able to lift and carry 10 - 20 lbs. of copy paper, computer equipment, or other office materials and supplies.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
