BANKRUPTCY PHONE CLERK
Assist customers in Bankruptcy proceedings via phone/mail regarding all aspects of their account in all asset classes to include, mobile home, first lien, home equity and others.
Bankruptcy experience preferred, but not required.
Must be able to FULLY attend 2-3 weeks of training
Shift, M-F, 8-5
Class 3/26, early start is available if needed
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Resolve delinquency with customers
2. Handle inbound calls from customers, determine customer's needs, problem solve and respond by answering questions and resolving issues
3. Research customer questions and respond accordingly
4. Sort mail and prepare outgoing correspondence
5. Other duties as assigned
SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Detail oriented and organized
2. Post high school education preferred
3. Strong oral communication skills
4. PC knowledge (Excel)
5. Typing WPM minimum: 35
6. Good numeric aptitude and analytical skills
7. Professional presence
8. Self-starter; able to work in fast-paced, deadline oriented environment 9. Ability to adhere to attendance guidelines
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITITIES
1. General knowledge of bankruptcy laws and continually keeping updated on laws and regulations
2. Detail oriented
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Strong numeric aptitude
5. Computer familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing
6. Superior organizational and follow-up skills
7. Ability to work independently in a structured, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
8. Ability to establish process to maintain individual bankruptcy queue in accordance with department procedures/policies
