Summary of This Role
Leads the TSYS HR Operations group globally, current accountability is for HRIS and North America payroll operation with potential oversight of all global payroll practices and policies. Plans, develops, and delivers all global HR technology strategies, including current scope and build out of global expansion. Maintains payroll accountability for US and Canada payroll operations currently, with development and oversight for global operations.
What Part Will You Play?
• Leads all global HR technology planning, development, and execution; currently consisting of two primary cloud based platforms and SQL databases for historic data management.
• Provides thought leadership for the next stage vision for the existing technology platforms; build out and second stage execution for logical Workday expansion.
• Oversees day to day operation of the global technology platforms, operational innovation, HR customer service and interface, data security, vendor management, data reporting and analytics, and overall data integrity.
• Develops and maintains, as needed, training aids, communication and change management plans and actions for both inorganic and organic transition requirements.
• Leads the US and Canada payroll operations (Workday processing environment); ensures all 50 state, local jurisdictions, federal, and multi-country legal and regulatory payroll compliance requirements are met. Leads consultations with inside and outside legal counsel on taxation, reporting, and processing functions.
• Creates vision for Non-US and Canada operations—execute on payroll vendor consolidation vision. Establishes and nurtures international payroll community. Develops phased consolidation approach with international payroll community. Gains all required internal approvals for vendor consolidation plan. Satisfies all legal, treasury, banking, local and corporate finance and accounting requirements.
• Oversees the FMLA and Leave Management processes with oversight for other services areas under consideration in near term.
• Leads diverse team of Workday trained leader/technologists, US/Canada payroll leader/teams, and dotted line in-country international payroll community.
• Other duties as assigned.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Related field of study from an accredited university is required
• Typically a minimum of 12 years
• Related professional experience including a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a managerial position
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree
• Related field of study from an accredited university
• Experience working in the WorkDay HRIS and Cornerstone environments; experience working for a global company
