We are seeking a smart, professional and energetic Associate Director to join our FP&A team. This person will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will play a central role in managing business unit P&Ls, monthly management reporting, global planning process, and supporting a broad array of other projects including ad hoc financial analyses.
What you’ll work on:
• Perform ongoing financial analysis of business unit performance, including variance analysis, and provide decision support for business unit owners
• Partner with business unit owners to develop forecasts and budgets
• Support monthly financial reporting to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee
• Assist Director of FP&A and Global CFO in ad hoc projects in support of the overall corporate goals
• Develop management reports & dashboards
• Coordinate and support the global forecasting/budgeting processes
• Support various stakeholders across the organization by providing ad hoc financial analysis upon request
• Supervise and support development of 2 analysts
• Build collaborative working relationships with staff at various levels throughout the organization
• Propose improvements to apply best practices and enhance business process effectiveness
What we look for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 6-8 years of progressive experience
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or public accounting experience is a plus but not required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
• Knowledge of specific financial systems (Workday Financial) is a plus, but ability to adapt and quickly learn new systems is a must
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships
• Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail
