The Team
The Consumer Product team is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in Arity’s growing and revolutionary product portfolio. This job is responsible for making sure that we are building the right thing and then defining KPIs that act as leading indicators for success. They collaboratively work with Product Teams to deliver digital products.
The Role
As an Associate Product Manager for Consumer, you will join an ambitious team that is seeking ways to harness Arity analytics and technology to help end consumers drive safer, smarter, and more efficient. You will have a charter to identify and define consumer pain points, market opportunity, and product vision. This includes gaining empathy for players within the ecosystem, managing strategic product relationships, and executing on your product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, drive and execute a strategy to approach the biggest consumer problems
• Engage in hypothesis generation and discovery/test & learn activities to learn more about your customers and partners, validate assumptions, and determine product investments.
• Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, data and metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform overall product strategy.
• Represent the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
• Assist with managing a product backlog, create effective user stories and provide timely stakeholder updates on development iterations.
• Ensure the successful execution of agile rituals to support highly iterative development and learning loops.
• Contribute to our learning culture by coaching and/or mentoring members of the cross-functional organization.
• Partner with Product Marketing Managers to develop and execute internal & external communications related to your product and/or portfolio.
• Establish relationships with external and internal entities to accomplish your vision.
Job Qualifications
• 3-5 years relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software.
• Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you had the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals.
• Ability to contribute towards data-driven decision making on complex and innovative concepts
• Ability to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.
• Understanding of and experience working in a development environment.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, marketing or related business degree, MBA/MIS/MS desired.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
