POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Financial Consultant, Advice & Investment Services will work directly with TIAA’s core clients and prospects to deliver phone-based personalized investment solutions to help them work toward their long-term financial goals. These individuals have the opportunity to provide guidance or offer assistance across a broad range of TIAA’s product lines. (Pension, Brokerage, IRA, etc.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
This role includes both Inbound and Outbound client management to facilitate financial planning, investments, and asset consolidation. The ideal candidate can expect to participate in the following activities:
• Engaging clients in exploratory conversations to gain an understanding of their financial position and uncover opportunities to deepen their relationship with TIAA
• Assisting clients with account opening, rollovers, and asset allocation
• Coordinating with appropriate business partners to provide a world-class experience to our customers
• Resolving issues for clients; demonstrate strategic thinking when pursuing problem resolution and retention
• Follow practical application of all compliance, regulatory, and company policies and guidelines
• FINRA Series 7 and 66, State Life/Health/Variable Annuity Insurance Licensing are required to be obtained within 120 days of start if not already held
• Must comply with all regulatory requirements and remain in good standing with regulatory agencies
• Acceptance of the position requires an 18 month commitment prior to posting for other roles within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1+ years of financial services experience in a client facing role
• Experience with financial services products, including retirement, mutual fund, brokerage, and life insurance products.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Operates well in a fast-paced environment: self-starter, ability to execute without significant oversight, and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
