The Treasury Cash Management Sales Consultant I is primarily responsible for the marketing, selling and training of the Bank’s commercial depository services and cash management products to BOKF branch business banking customers and prospects primarily via the telephone; acts as a liaison between customers and support departments on the Bank to facilitate sales implementation and service issues; provides clients training on products and services after set-up and implementation is complete; manages customer relationships to ensure all needs are addressed; monitors market condition/trends so the Bank will remain competitive in its product orderings. The Treasury Cash Management Sales Consultant I is both an individual producer and expert resource for the branch team in booking their own business.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Directs cash management solicitation sales to clients/prospects which utilize depository/cash management services, predominately via the telephone from internal referrals. BE part of the branch teams – Help consumer bankers/branches increase revenue by driving business sales points. Identify larger business opportunities and refer more complex customer to the relationship manager.
2. Develops and executes cash management educational seminars for internal sales partners.
3. Post-implementation, training of external clients on the proper use of cash managements products sold.
4. Cross sells all Bank products and services; refers customer/prospects to the appropriate division/department; monitors and ensures appropriate follow up. In particular complex treasury opportunities to the appropriate TMO.
5. Prepares and provides sales/service management tools for management including call plans, call reports and sales reports.
6. Coordinates service support for resolution of customer problems with 10% depository/cash management services; follow ups on resolutions to customers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
• Thorough knowledge of product delivery systems and on-line computer systems
• Strong knowledge of banking and cash management products
• Working knowledge of Bank operations
• Working knowledge of business banking products, processes and policies
• Strong Interpersonal skills, relationship management skills and sales prospecting skills
• Ability to partner and influence/leadership skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent PC and software application skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills—in particular, telephone conversation/selling skills
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years experience in cash management product sales or equivalent related experience in banking of 3-5 years.
