Role Overview:
• Work closely with CVP, Sales Strategy to implement a strategic approach to provide robust support to Top Offices and meet the needs of New York Life's top field managers.
• Leverage project management skills to coordinate with other team members on tactical elements of strategic plan. Follow up and articulate next steps as part of the strategy execution process.
• Develop sales tracking reports to support New York Life's largest General Offices, as part of a Top Office Support Strategy.
• Provide support to, and coordinate with, other analysts to develop and implement key reports and analyze key performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Sales Strategy team as necessary to provide ad-hoc project management, reporting and sales tracking.
• Interfaces with stakeholders and other teams to manage delivery expectations, provide status updates on projects and discuss concerns.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management,including some administrative duties.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree (Business, IT or Computer Programming)
• Minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience
• Experience in advanced analytics
• Skilled at building and manipulating Access databases and Excel
• Ability to navigate through NYL systems and extract and interpolate fairly complex data
• Technological aptitude is a must
• Ability to translate regularly updated strategies into deliverable content (reports, tracking) to support an external sales force and large sales offices
• Ability to work with different areas to coordinate projects across teams in a cross-functional fashion
• Must be able to articulate ideas and strategy (written and oral)
• Existing knowledge of the Life insurance industry is preferable
