Reporting to the Chief Cloud Officer this position is part of the Global Technology & Cloud leadership team and has primary accountability for the delivery of Technology operations across application, infrastructure and support services. Ensuring the availability, stability, security and performance of Finastra's platforms.
The role is managerial in nature and focuses on ensuring that the production technology services are delivered in a globally consistent manner across the regions, meeting the company’s present and future needs.
Leadership & Team Management
• Leads by example. Sets clear direction. Is accessible and approachable.

• Oversees Talent Development, Succession Planning, High Performance culture and Job architecture throughout the team
• Energizes and mobilizes people around Finastra’s goals and business vision.

• Drives a ‘change agent’ mentality, challenging the status quo.
• Ensuring the team is positioned to efficiently support the Finastra’s global business expansion.
• Ensuring team processes are fully documented and continually reviewed.
• Builds strong working relationships with all key stakeholders across Finastra and key clients as appropriate.
• Ensuring that company policies and code of conduct are embedded in the team.
• Manage and Track all Technology Operations Risk and mitigation plans
Budget Management
• Manage financial P&L (Capex, Opex) across Finastra’s global Data Centres including all Hardware/Software supporting global technology operations
• Manage vendor relationships support global technology operations with focus Service management, risk and financial efficiencies
• Delivery of global technology operations services on time and within budget.
Performance & Availability
• Ensure Platform Availability and Performance to support KPI compliance in line contracted SLAs.
Incident & Problem Management
• Overseeing the resolution of all production incidents, ensuring timely root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Actively looking to minimize the number of incidents.
• Managing the response time for all Incidents within SLAs for each client.
• Ensuring temporary and permanent fix times are within SLAs for each client.
Capacity Management
• Ensure the capacity of IT Services and the IT Infrastructure is able to deliver agreed Service Level Targets in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Maintain capacity plans as appropriate.
Infrastructure Services
• Provide and manage end to end global operations for Platform compute, Application server and Middleware, Operating Systems, databases, storage, enterprise systems management, physical data centres and cloud
• Oversee the delivery of IT Operations solutions to support SBU strategic roadmaps/projects for SaaS and Legacy products/applications and corporate roadmaps
• Ensure infrastructure disaster recovery plans are up to date.
• Ensure that Finastra systems are internally and externally secure by ensuring existing policies and procedures are adhered to and documented for audit purposes.
Production Application Support
• Oversee the delivery of Tier 2 Operations for all applications and products for all Finastra business SBUs including second level support, Production deployments and application operational tasks.
• Managing an efficient and effective Production Application Support team that is dedicated to the proactive monitoring and resolution of any client or operational requests in line with client SLAs.
• Maintaining data integrity.
• Task and production monitoring including batch monitoring.
Strategy formulation and implementation
• Contribute to the formulation and refinement of the Global Technology team vision and strategy.
• Ensure the Production Support and Infrastructure team activities are fully aligned to the Global Technology vision and strategy.
• Build and drive a 3-year rolling strategic & investment roadmap aligned with the overall Business, CTO and CIO strategies
