National RD Program Outline Role Description:
The Regional Director (RD) is a Wealth Management leadership position that supports cross-functional Investment and Advisory components of Goals Driven Wealth Management. RDs will be part of a structured National RD Program that resides within the GDWM Practice.
The role is a 24 – 36 month position with a targeted focus on driving GDWM adoption and execution at the Partner, Team and Region level. The role also provides an opportunity for RDs to build key leadership skills and obtain exposure to both Regional and National Executive Leadership. The Regional Director role is an opportunity for career path acceleration, by demonstrating leadership, change management, and presentation skills and becoming a subject matter expert (SME) on Goals Driven Wealth Management.
A Regional RD Liaison Group will be established; with each member also serving as a dotted line report for each RD within their local market. The Regional RD Liaison will oversee RD recruiting and career development, while also working with RDs for optimal permanent placement opportunities.
Regional RD Liaison Role:
• Engagement in RD Hiring Process (Recruitment, Interviews, etc.)
• Mentorship of RDs, including every other month meeting with RDs
• Provide feedback to GDWM Practice on individual RD development and execution of Practice Initiatives
• Serve as a channel for RDs to escalate matters that should be discussed at local or regional level
• Oversee Year 1 and Year 2 RD development, while also working with RDs to identify optimal placement opportunities in Year 3
RD Reporting Structure:
• Direct report to GDWM Practice Leader (Jeremy Julian)

• Dotted-line report to Regional RD Liaison
• Frequent communication with Regional Advisory Practice and Investment Practice Leadership
RD Role Qualifications:
• Experience in one or more Wealth Management disciplines (Advisory, Investments, Banking, Trust, etc.)
• Ability and willingness to develop expertise in both Advisory and Investment disciplines
• Desire to become a subject matter expert in Goals Driven Wealth Management
• Strong communication, coaching, and collaboration skills
• Beneficial but not required: Prior Goals Driven Wealth Management experience
• Beneficial but not required: Wealth Management Credentials (CFP, CIMA, CPWA, CFA, JD, MBA, etc.)
