Description
Santander has an exciting opening for a Recruiter to join the HR team! The qualified candidate will provide full life-cycle recruiting support to the Global Corporate Banking and Legal departments. The individual in this role will manage his/her requisitions with a sense of urgency, strong sourcing/networking, and provide consultative service to hiring managers located in Boston and New York.
Duties:
• Serves as the point of contact, shares market knowledge and expertise with hiring manager for assigned business units throughout the hiring process.
• Manages candidates' expectations by providing timely, relevant, accurate feedback to internal and external candidates. Accountable to ensure positive experience for the candidates.
• Works with hiring managers to develop staffing strategy. Leads and executes sourcing strategy.
• Attends job fairs and/or other recruiting events as needed.
• Complies with all OFCCP regulations including the entering and maintaining of recruiting data in Taleo.
• Provides managers with a diverse candidate slate. Optimizes job postings and screening requirements for marketability.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 5-7 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience preferred.
• Corporate, commercial or investment banking recruitment experience a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment and HR practices and legal consequences.
• Excellent interviewing practices, effective verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated presentation, collaboration and influencing skills.
• In depth knowledge of internet sourcing strategies.
• Recruiting agency experience helpful.
• Strong leadership, consultative and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
