Job Description
The Credit Risk Oversight Project Manager will be responsible for developing, applying and enhancing credit risk oversight processes in support of and under the oversight of the overall Corporate Risk Management framework and system. Responsibilities will include evaluating and monitoring of consumer credit risk appetite, tolerance and thresholds. Also defining the process for monitoring the performance of the consumer credit portfolio and perform reviews of credit risk strategies, while using efficient trade-offs among key business metrics such as credit losses, receivables, and profit. This will necessitate identification, design and implementation of complex statistical and business analyses in support of business strategy.
The candidate will have strong ability to translate business objectives into analytical framework and solve them by using optimal trade-offs between risk and revenue metrics. He/she will work in a cross-functional environment with internal business partners such as Credit Management and Finance. • Design and implement comprehensive analysis as part of the credit review process, including evaluation of portfolio performance and impact from strategy changes
• Establish and maintain effective portfolio tracking to monitor changes in the portfolio credit performance
• Assess and effectively challenge Risk Appetite & KRI tolerances and thresholds
• Review and effectively challenge the ALLL assumptions and calculations
• Apply and enhance credit risk oversight policies, processes and procedures
• Establish effective controls in the credit oversight process
Skills
Master's Degree
Preferred Field of Study: Statistics, Economics, Engineering, MBA or other quantitative discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience (3 years preferred) as a Credit Analyst, Data Analyst or Financial Analyst
SAS, SQL and knowledge of MS-Office Suite
