Director of Digital Banking Strategy
Opportunity Overview
As the Digital Banking Product Management Director for Banner Bank you will lead the product management and product development functions for the Retail Bank's digital banking products and services. You will lead a team of up to 9 professionals in industry & competitive market research, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and defining the product roadmap. You will champion the delivery and continual improvement of digital banking services and ensure digital banking products support the company's overall strategy and goals.
As a Digital Banking Product Manager Director with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:
• Oversee product management of the Retail Bank's digital banking products and services including development, pricing, competitive research, product positioning, product promotion, and profitability
• Lead cross-functional project teams in the creation and launch of new digital banking products and product enhancements
• Partner with key stakeholders including sales, marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital banking products meet strategic goals
• Drive business, financial and customer experience results for Retail Bank's digital experiences through the selection, design, development, and promotion of new and existing digital banking products
• Design and deliver product performance and client experience analytics and reporting to lines of business leaders
• Define, monitor, and analyze product performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve all facets of the client experience -- from client onboarding to servicing
• Identify and manage potential areas of risk associated with existing and new digital banking products and policies
Travel: Overnight travel as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Lean Certification; PMI – Agile Certified; PMP; CTP; CCPSP; or AAP – Accredited ACH Professional preferred
Experience
• 8 or more years of experience in product development/management preferably in a financial institution required
• 5 or more years of experience in management required
• Banking, Retail Delivery Channel, Digital Banking Products and/or Consumer Product Management experience in a management capacity preferred
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of product development and product management processes; knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products
• ability to develop product line processes and strategies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and an understanding of competitive analysis and benchmarking methodologies
• Obtain, analyze, and effectively communicate information; ability to work collaboratively to turn raw research data into actionable plans for senior management consideration
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities and able to work with all levels of the bank and with external third-parties
• Knowledge of values and practices that align client needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and ability to leverage that information in creating client-focused solutions
• Experience assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with candidate's business objectives and activities to ensure activities are in alignment with the bank's risk appetite and risk management framework
